Lusail University

Lusail University (LU) is the first private national university in Qatar to offer academic programs that contribute to the preparation of trained and qualified human resources to keep pace with the local and international labor market. Lusail University currently offers 12 Qatar Scholarships programs.

Applicants must:

  • Have a high school diploma with an overal grade of 90% or higher
  • Be between 18 and 22 years of age
  • Pass a personal interview
  • Pass the Lusail University language test
  • Applicant may not have previously obtained any certificate from an institution of higher education
  • Applicant may not be residents of Qatar

Required documents:

  • A medical certificate proving medical fitness, given that a medical examination will be conducted upon the student's arrival in Qatar, and if he/she does not pass the medical examination, he/she will be excluded from the nomination
  • A police clearance certificate accredited from their home country
  • A written authorization from their legal guardian which provides permission to join the scholarship
  • A certified birth certificate
  • A valid passport
  • High School diploma certificate authenticated by the Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the applicant’s country, provided that the certificate is equivalenced in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar through Lusail University
