International students from developing countries who receive academic admission into the ANNS program will be eligible for Qatar Scholarships funding

The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, an officially recognized academic institution, is an independent institute for learning and research in the fields of Social Sciences, Humanities, Public Administration and Development Economics in Doha.

Lusail University

The academic programs offered by the Qatar Scholarships Program are in partnership with world class colleges and universities in Qatar, including Lusail University (LU).

Lusail University (LU) is the first private national university in Qatar to offer academic programs that contribute to the preparation of trained and qualified human resources to keep pace with the local and international labor market. It provides a stimulating environment for scientific research and knowledge production that contributes to sustainable development and promotes service and build the community.

Lusail University currently offers 12 Qatar Scholarships programs.

Scholarships are available to males and females from developing countries.

Applicants must:

  • Have a high school diploma with an overal grade of 90% or higher
  • Be between 18 and 22 years of age
  • Pass a personal interview
  • Pass the Lusail University language test
  • Applicant may not have previously obtained any certificate from an institution of higher education
  • Applicant may not be residents of Qatar

Required documents:

  • A medical certificate proving medical fitness, given that a medical examination will be conducted upon the student's arrival in Qatar, and if he/she does not pass the medical examination, he/she will be excluded from the nomination
  • A current COVID-19 vaccination certificate
  • A police clearance certificate accredited from their home country
  • A written authorization from their legal guardian which provides permission to join the scholarship
  • A certified birth certificate
  • A valid passport
  • High School diploma certificate authenticated by the Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the applicant’s country, provided that the certificate is equivalenced in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar through Lusail University

HBKU in partnership with GGI

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development (QF), was founded in 2010 to continue fulfilling QF's vision of unlocking human potential. HBKU is a homegrown research and graduate studies University that acts as a catalyst for positive transformation in Qatar and the region while having a global impact.

The Geneva Graduate Institute (GGI) is an institution of research and higher education dedicated to the study of world affairs, with a particular emphasis on the cross-cutting fields of international relations and development issues. Through its core activities, it aims to promote international cooperation and contribute to the progress of developing societies. More broadly, the Institute endeavors to develop creative thinking on the major challenges of our time, as well as foster global responsibility and advance respect for diversity.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) in partnership with the Geneva Graduate Institute (GGI), currently offers 1 Executive Masters programs in partnership with Qatar Scholarships

  • Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices

International students from developing countries who receive academic admission into the Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices program may be eligible for Qatar Scholarships funding.
